Personal Story

Hari ni aku nak terkeluar dari topik kejap. I had big fight with my husband but it ended before the day ends.. I'm sure ramai couple yang pernah bergaduh especially husband and wife tapi aku tak sure if some wives are like me..

Have to admit that I'm not really a good wife. Aku belajar agama, aku tau hukum isteri yang buat suami marah, tak dengar kata suami and etc.. but sometimes panas baran aku teruk sangat and how i disrespect my husband sampai at one point aku buat dekk je bila my husband duk marah2 aku..

Is it because my ego is too high? is it because i think i'm so high above my husband just because i'm the boss at the office.. yeah i know people said husband is always the boss at home no matter what.. or

Is it because i was so used to be on my own, too independent, feel too strong because before i met my husband i was an independent woman? (like Destiny's Child song hehe)

Maybe.. but then again, i should think about dosa and that syurga itu di telapak kaki suami dan redha Allah ada pada suami.. semoga aku boleh berubah and tak lagi jadi isteri yang melampau lampau egonya..

Jalan-jalan Tengok Rumah - Single Storey Semi D in Semenyih

Aku memang suka jalan2 tengok rumah sejak azali lagi, tapi my hubby was not like that and he always gave me one weird look if I told him I want to check out newly built houses during weekend joyrides.. Paling teruk is when I was carrying my first baby back in 2006, macam dah jadi satu benda yang aku ngidam! yes.. i know mmg pelikss.. aku ngidam nak jln2 tgk rumah org.. especially kawasan rumah baru2..

Yang paling best, now my hubby pun dah start suka giler jln2 tgk rumah since we just bought a new semi detached in Kajang Selatan.. FINALLY!! both me and hubby are sharing the same interest!

Somewhere in end of April, we went to Semenyih and we saw single storey semi Ds that were just launched. The layout of the house is not that bad.. its quite spacious for a single storey and the yard is quite big too especially for corner lot. Intermediate lot is also nice and I would say the yard is ok, not so big and not so small..

KES SIMBAH ASID

everyone is talking about kes simbah asid yang dah cecah sampai 23 org mangsa.. ya Allah mmg sangat2 gile la org tu.. macam takde keje lain je.. pagi, petang, malam sure ada yg kena.. are they been paid to do that? org jenis apa yg takde life mcm tu? kerje nya hanya simbah asid kat mana2 org yg dia nak.. kita yg normal ni sibuk pegi kerja la, balik kerja la.. hantar anak sekolah la.. pegi shopping la.. kalau kejenya duk buat camni, mmg tak normal lansung and then, apa yg diorang dapat??? tersangat sewel..

oh btw, kalau org sewel tu baca blog aku ni (tak hingin pun org jahat baca blog aku), haa.. apa kata korang simbah muka korang sendiri dgn asid biar nampak lain sikit. tak dapatla polis tangkap ko kan? yerla.. muka suspek dah kuar TV dah sekarang..

Celebriti Tanpa Make-up

Terjumpa satu website about Hollywood celebrities without their make-up. Actually muka diorang ni biasa2 jer.. macam muka org ramai.. yang jadi cun nya sebab tempek make up la kan..
so, moral of the story, kita semua pun leh jadi cun melecun kalau make up artist tolong touch up kita kekekeh..

Holiday at Palace of the Golden Horse

2 hari lepas kitaorg stayed in Minister Suite kat Palace of the Golden Horse.. actually dekat giler dgn rumah.. saje je nak rehat2 tapi tak nak gi jauh2 sangat takut penat, letih bagai.. dahlah bawak 2 budak2.. mmg susah sikit nak uruskan diorg nih..

Jalan-jalan Tengok Rumah - Bayan Villa

We did an impromptu visit to Bayan Villa, Bukit Ikhlas showhouse today. Just nak tengok2 how does it look like since we knew about this housing project, 3 years ago. The entrance is a bit disappointing coz its too far from the main road. But the layout of the building is nice. I said the building only coz I don't really like the narrow road and the parking spaces. Macam tin sardin je or at my office, its called 'buddy parking' as the cars will block each other and I don't know, maybe you need to pre-warn your neighbour or need to make pre-arrangement or what for the parking.

However.. I do like the design of the showhouse for Duplex and 3+1 Condo.. very nice.. salute to the Interior Designer for the marvellous design.. i really2 like it. Maybe I'm not gonna buy the house coz its a bit way over my budget but, at least we can 'copy' the ideas..

So far dah banyak show house yang kitaorg survey, I would say this is the best design so far.. susahla kan nak cakap sebab takde gambar and takleh ambik gambar. Just read my description je la and I will try find some examples from pakcik Google kalau2 ada yg sama.

Yang kat atas ni, floor plan untuk Duplex, quite similar to a double-storey terrace house, ruang bawah kecik sikit tapi atas agak luas. Aku suka layout dia coz kedudukan bilik, ruang2, bathroom tak macam biasa (selalu rumah teres straight je..), yang ni ada hallway from one room to the other.

Bahagian courtyard tu ngadap garden and a very nice long fish pond (gambar 2).. memang nampak very soothing and relax..

Kat bahagian master bedroom of the showhouse, diorang knocked down the wall in between the study area dan buatkan bilik tu nampak besar gile. Diorang just letak divider kayu to separate the bed and study area.. mmg cantik.

Paling menariknya.. diorang guna banyak elemen kaca to bring lights into the house. Even the wall+wardrobe kat bilik air master bedroom is made of transparent glass.. memang cun! like it so much.

Another thing yang aku suka about the design (this one for '3+1 Bedroom' punya unit) is the small pantry yang diorang bina kat bahagian alcove dapur tu.. very nice! ( i wish i had the photo of the pantry!)

Sangat2 happy balik dari Bayan Villa coz I have tonnes of ideas for my new home now.. hehehe

Tips untuk wallpaper

I'm sure ramai kaum wanita suka wallpaper and nak letak wallpaper kat dinding2 rumah kan? Selalunya kita boleh nampak 'keserabutan' rumah kalau letak wallpaper yang terlalu banyak corak and covered the whole house pulak tu. Salah tu.. Wallpaper patutnya tak payah cover sampai satu rumah, cukup untuk feature wall and sebahagian dinding sahaja.

Make sure corak wallpaper tak terlalu sarat dan coraknya mestilah sesuai dengan theme rumah.. kalau rumah style modern kontemporari, janganlah pulak letak wallpaper untuk English country style..

One more thing is, untuk rumah English style pun, janganlah sampai corak bunga penuh satu rumah. Just letak wallpaper kat satu bahagian dinding dengan corak bunga kecil2 ataupun yang tak terlalu banyak warna..

Before that, just nak tunjuk corak wallpaper Laura Ashley yang baru ku beli sebab its on sale kat Isetan KLCC.. just RM60 per roll, harga asal RM99.. agak poyo la kan sebab rumah baru hanya akan siap end of next year!

Camne nak combine 2 blogs jadi satu?

Semalam aku cari tips nak combine blogs into one blog without creating new entries and change the dates... its a very very useful tips coz aku try sekali je terus jadik! yeehaa..

Follow these steps to copy all posts from one blog to another:

1 Log in to Blogger.

2 Go to the Settings / Basics tab.

3 Click on Export Blog.




3 Your computer will download a file. For Windows users, it will probably be put in the My Documents / Downloads file. Or system may use another place, or may ask you where to put it. Whatever happens, you will need to know where this file is saved to.

4 Open the blog that you want to move the posts to
(You may need to log out and in again, or perhaps just switch to different browser or tab)

5 Delete (using Posting / Edit Posts) any Posts that are already in the destination blow Posts but which you don't want in the refreshed blog.

6 Go to Settings / Basics again. This time, click Import Blog. When the box opens, choose the exported file that you made in step 2/3, and enter the security-text.




7 Choose whether or not to automatically publish all imported posts. Only tick the box if you DO want the posts automatically imported. If you dont tick it, the posts will be loaded, but be Draft, so won't be visible by readers until you publish them.

8 Click Import Blog.

9 Check that the import worked successfully, by looking at the blog, and also at the list of posts under Edit Posts: are the right number of posts there, do they have the right labels etc.
Note: if you accidentally try to import posts into the same blog that you exported them from, Blogger will not import any posts, and give you an error message. If you do want to do this (eg to create a duplicate set of posts), then do the export, change some small detail of the original posts title or date/time, and then do the import.

my passion

Aku tersangat2 minat dgn interior design.. thats why rumahku yang kiut miut ni dah makin kiut coz barang banyak sgt and i have no idea where to store all those furnitures, home accessories and etc.. nak tunggu rumah baru, lagi 1 thn lebih baru nak siap.. so now, while planning the design for my new home next year, i'm also looking into improvising the design of my current home... what i just changed is the hiasan kat atas TV tu.. used to be a place where i put all our photo frames but now i have removed them and replaced with BOOKS!.. well, believe it or not, books can be the most stylish home accessories, you don't have to buy all the expensive things... you can just use books and tadaaa! it looked nice also..
I also like the idea of having a space for me to use my lappy and at the same time watching Faris & Sofea playing at the living area.. and at the same time reaching for my books after i'm done blogging! (anyway.. semua ni pun sebab rumah ku tersangat comel.. pastu adik2 ipar tinggal sekali, tambah lagi dgn bibik sekali so dah takde space nak jadikan home office.. huhuhu.. tunggu umah baru la nampak gayanya..)

One more Tips: Tak payah meja mahal2 or besar2 sgt.. aku guna meja lama, covered dgn alas meja yg labuh and there you are.. looked so sweet kan?? underneath the desk aku letak budak2 punya toys.. see, it can be a very good storage idea!

cubaan menghabiskan 3 buku

Cubaan ke apa tak tau laa.. since ada 2 org anak ni macam payah sikit nak habiskan even 1 book per month! masa home rest before deliverkan si Sofea tu okla.. now both of them nak attention and I only have weekends to do everything, major laundry, major kemas rumah, jalan2, shopping, grocery shopping, bertanya kabar ahli keluarga, spend time with Faris & Sofea.. goshhh... 24hrs a day mmg tak cukup bagi aku... (how can i manage to blogging? hehe.. can't you see my entry that says "it has been 3 years since i last blogging"...) being a Working Mama memang busy like a bee!

Anyway, I still managed to grab 3 books today from Kinokuniya and I found these books are interesting...

Buku yang pertama, ala.. from the title itself pun dah boleh agak kan? Yup.. this book is trying to keep all parents calm and not to worry too much when it comes to child's development.. Einstein pun tak guna all this flash cards or hi-tech toys to be such a brainy man.. yeah.. i can't stand people bragging about their kids.. anak tak cakap pelat pun macam it is such an achievement.. rasa mcm nak tanya 'well.. nape tak hantar je anak u yg umur 3 tahun tu masuk kolej kalau bijak sangat!'.. bragging je takpela, siap nak compare dgn anak kita

Buku 2... about a Palestinian girl in Australia starting to wear tudung.. i'll try to give some review if i can manage to finish this book before May!

Buku 3.. from Danielle Steele.. baca synopsis macam best.. again, tunggu reviewla.. huhu..

Kukur Nyior

Mesti ramai yg tertanya2 apakah makna tajuk entry ku kali ni.. hahaha.. org Ganu sure selalu dengar perkataan ni (perkataan??).. actually kukur nyior tu adalah proses untuk korek isi kelapa to get the coconut milk.. zaman sekarang org pakai mesin je, tak pun macam aku selalu pakai santan segera, gile moden tapi mmg nilai2 adat resam tu dah hilang sekarang..

Tadi aku tiba2 teringat masa zaman sekolah rendah dulu, time lunch je, my mum selalu suruh aku 'kukur nyior'.. tangan aku ni jenis kecik and selalu la lenguh2 nak bagi isi kelapa tu jadi banyak, most of the time aku give up cepat sgt, tak sampai segenggam je, aku tinggalkan 'kukuran nyior' tu halfway so my mum la yang kene sambung sampai habis.. that was one of the chores yang aku paling tak suka at that time...
... but now,.. i kinda miss it... even my mum sekarang pun beli je nyior kat kedai.. so lagila aku dah hampir lupa pasal kukur nyior ni... *sigh*

full body check-up

Hari sabtu dulu me and hubby did a full body check up at a clinic that don't have too many patients. the process took about 1-2 hours so if you wanna do check up, its best to choose clinics with less patients. "Why not Pathlab or anything similar? why i chose clinic?"
Its because doctors are available in clinics, not in labs and we can get detail explanation and advices directly from doctors.

The doctor did ask me and my hubby why we suddenly wanted to do this because normally people will do full body check up if there's something came up. Well... like any other 'budak-budak' zaman sekarang.. we always eat during midnight and sometimes after midnight, especially near to our sleeping time which is very very bad for our health so sendiri mau ingatla kan... kena la check our health once in a while to ensure we don't suddenly get critical diseases or suddenly kena heart attack.

Me and hubby siap compare lagi sape punya kolesterol lagi tinggi, sape punya gula lagi tinggi.. hahaha.. but that is to encourage ourselves to go on diet. so, lets take care of our health now before its too late...

it has been almost 3 years!

OMG! all of a sudden i got really inspired by Awang Goneng to blog again.. after almost 3 years of being idle di alam maya.. quite active in FB, itupun aku started facebooking in mid of 2009.
AG said he blog and blook (pls Google if u don't understand) because he wanted his children to know his childhood experience in Trengganu.
To be honest, the book Growing Up in Trengganu is really a very good book. to a 'mek ganu' like me, all the stories in the book made me feel like Trengganu is calling me to come home and reminisce each moment we had in this unique and fascinating town.
i hope i can continue blogging, in my own way and in my own style.
